African Diasporic Cultural Resource Center (AdCRC) - The AdCRC educates, promotes, and encourages the interaction and dialogue among the diverse ethnic groups within the African diasporic communities of UCSB and to promote cross cultural learning and interaction amongst all ethnic groups.
American Indian Cultural Resource Center (AICRC) - The AICRC promotes cultural identity development and strives to empower American Indian students through their college careers.
Asian and Pacific Islander Graduate Student Alliance - The Asian Pacific Islander Graduate Student Alliance (APIGSA) at UC Santa Barbara is an organization that strives to create and maintain spaces of support for graduate students of Asian panethnicity, while advocating for a more critically accurate representation of Asian American students
Black Student Union (BSU) - The Black Student Union exists to serve and unify the students of the African diaspora at the University of California, Santa Barbara, by addressing their needs. BSU seeks to identify relevant issues and initiate appropriate action in order to reduce or eliminate any impediments believed to be adverse to students and their continued well being and matriculation.
Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) - The BGSA provides academic support and social resources to meet the needs of Black graduate students. BGSA is committed to mentorship, research, and service while also striving to create an inclusive environment where all students at UCSB can thrive. BGSA has partnered with organizations including the MCC, RCSGD, and GSA and welcomes collaboration with other like-minded individuals and organizations.
Chicanx/Latinx Cultural Resource Center (CLCRC) - At the Chicanx/Latinx Cultural Resource Center (located in the Student Resource Building) and El Centro Arnulfo Casillas (Building #406), the UCSB community can develop an understanding and appreciation of Chicanx/Latinx cultural heritage and history.
Middle Eastern Resource Center (MERC) - The MERC promotes the cultural awareness and academic success of students of Middle Eastern, North African and South Asian (MENASA) heritage by fostering dialogue, cross-cultural learning, and interaction among the diverse ethnic groups on campus.
MultiCultural Center (MCC) - Educational programming used to facilitate discussions of awareness and inclusivity
Non-traditional Student Resource Center - UCSB is committed to serving all students coming from diverse backgrounds and life situations, including those who took time off before going to school, are transferring at an age older than most students, have families, or are re-entering.
Office of Black Student Development - The Office of Black Student Development seeks to create a space where Black students can be empowered, inspired, and provided with the resources they need to succeed.
Queer and Trans Graduate Student Union (QTGSU) - The QTGSU at the UC Santa Barbara provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ identified UCSB students to socialize, organize, and seek support. The QTGSU advocates for the rights and well-being of LGBTQIA+ identified students on campus and works to foster ties with the greater Santa Barbara community.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) - SACNAS strives to promote both minority students and diversity in the STEM fields through professional development events, guest speakers, community service events, and high school outreach programs.
Undocumented Students Services (USS) - USS practices a solution-focused, intercultural, intersectional, and social justice approach that provides personalized support, programs, services, and resources. USS strives to develop a strong sense of awareness and understanding of the experiences of undocumented students and immigrant communities by providing resources and tools for UCSB campus community to support undocumented students and their communities.
Veterans’ Resource Center - Veterans and Military Services (VMS) at UCSB exists to support you in your transition to and through our academic community. We provide service and resources to all military-related students at UCSB, including active/reserve and National Guard members, as well as spouses and dependents.
Women’s Center - The Women, Gender, & Sexual Equity Department exists at UC Santa Barbara to support students, faculty, and staff who might face some challenges due to their identity.
Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) - WiSE is a nonprofit campus organization that promotes equal opportunity for women and girls in science and engineering in order to improve their scientific and career advancement.

CARE: Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education - Provides confidential advocacy and support for survivors of sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking.
Title IX (Sexual Harassment Policy Compliance Office) - UCSB compliance is dedicated to ensuring a campus environment free from discrimination, sexual harassment, and assault/violence, and provides resources to those whose rights may have been violated.

Opening New Doors to Accelerating Success (ONDAS) - The ONDAS Student Center at UCSB promotes the success and retention of first-generation college students with an emphasis on the first year transition and underrepresented student experience. We provide mentoring and academic support in a learning-centered space for students to connect with faculty, staff, and peers in order to grow personally and excel academically.
Transfer Student Center - Help with all aspects of joining the UCSB student community as a transfer student

AS: Associated Students - Non-profit organization with elected student personnel whose mission is to voice student concerns to UCSB administrative and state/local governments, as well as create expenditures for student programs
Career Services - Hub for work-study, internships, employment opportunities, and career resources.
Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) - Offers mentorship, academic programs (STEP, FSSP, STTP), counseling/advising, campus service referrals, and student cultural centers.
Office of International Students and Scholars - Campus resources and advising is provided for UCSB’s international community and departments who work with these students.
Office of Student Conduct (formerly Judicial Affairs) - Adjudicates academic integrity policies and behavioral violations.
Student Affairs - Focus is geared towards student enrollment, retention, and graduation, and services are put in place to heighten student success.

As an ER physician and one of the country’s leading health equity advocates, Dr. Uché Blackstock has a deep and hands-on understanding of how systemic racism is affecting the health of BIPOC communities across the country. She was recognized in 2023 by Fortune Magazine as one of 13 Innovators Shaping the Future of Health, and in 2024 as one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Important People in Health. Her generational memoir, Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons With Racism in Medicine, became an instant New York Times bestseller upon publication in January.
